Acoplamentos: um estudo sobre a interação entre humanos e computadores

Abstract

Este estudo investiga a interação dos humanos com os computadores pessoais. A partir dos incômodos produzidos por esses encontros, na primeira parte estuda-se a produção da máquina “amigável” – que insinua comparações com a mente humana – e seus fortes efeitos nas transformações culturais do final do século XX. Na segunda parte do trabalho, a partir de entrevistas de trabalhadores falando sobre sua aprendizagem básica do uso de computadores pessoais, faz-se uma análise das principais concepções sobre a relação homem-técnica que estão influenciando a interação humano-computador. Com isso fica evidenciado o papel do computador na crise do sujeito moderno, e afirma-se a necessidade de se pensar a subjetividade para além da clássica divisão sujeito-objeto, homem máquina, natureza-artifício... o que aponta para a idéia de acoplamentos flexíveis entre humanos e computadores e pede por uma noção de aprendizagem que acolha a criação de problemas como seu aspecto mais rico.This study investigates the humans' interactions with personal computers. In the first part, starting from the abashment produced by those encounters, it is studied the production of the “friendly machine” – that suggests comparisons with the human mind – and its strong achievements in the cultural transformations of the end of the XX Century. In the second part of this study, starting from workers' interviews talking about their basic learning in the personal computers handling, an analysis of the main conceptions on the relationship man-technique that are influencing the human-computer interaction is made. It denotes the role of the computer in the modern subject's crisis. Also, it is affirmed the need to think the subjectivity beyond its classic division: subject-object, man-machine, nature-artifice... It points out to the idea of flexible couplings between humans and computers and it demands a notion of learning that welcomes the creation of problems as its richer aspect.
